Third Day for Artist of the Year - Your Vote Counts!

Did you see the press release below about Third Day being nominated for a flock of Dove Awards? How great is that?! Let me recap for you. Third Day is nominated for:

• Artist of the Year
• Group of the Year
• Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year for Revelation
• Special Event Album category: Mac Powell is nominated for his part on How Great Thou Art: 
• Gospel Favorites from the Grand Ole Opry (He sang with Charlie Daniels on “I’ll Fly Away")

I know we Gomers get very excited watching the GMA Dove Awards on TV, and even attending the Dove Awards in person at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. But admit it, you feel kinda helpless, waiting to see if Third Day has won, don't you?

Despair no longer! This year, for the very first time in it's 40 year history, the Gospel Music Association is inviting the fans to vote in two of the top categories, New Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year! Fan voting will open on Feb. 26, the same day online voting opens for GMA members. They are going to continue the voting right up until the time they announce the winners! The cumulative fan vote will account for one-third of the total vote in those two categories.

To vote, we will have to go to either the Gospel Music Channel website or the Dove Awards website starting Thursday.

Now here's where we get busy Gomers! We know that Third Day is the Artist of the Year, every year! But this is our first best chance to show it! Spread the word! Get everyone to vote for Third Day for Artist of the Year! We can do this!
