Mac Powell has a new project coming out in 2007. It's a rap album! Don't belive me? He says so himself, "You guys are in luck! I'm making a rap album right now as we speak in the studio. It's gonna be kind of a cross between old school Run DMC and Whodini with a twist of Vanilla Ice. That's the real kind of rap. Something you can shake your booty to. And I'm not talking about pirate booty. I'm gonna have guest raps from great artists like Mark Hall, Chris Tomlin, and special guest Ray Boltz. Can't wait for you guys to hear it!" Just look here!
Actually, Mac does have a new project coming out this spring. It is called Glory Revealed: The Word of God In Worship. Mac says this about the project, "The album "Glory Revealed" comes out on March 6th. I'm so excited about it. The single By His Wounds was just released and is doing well. I produced the record and had the privilege of working with great artists like Shane and Shane, David Crowder, Smitty, Brian Littrell, and many, many others."
Mac collaborated on the project with evangelist David Nasser. The songs are taken directly from Scripture, and will speak to the heart of the listener. Mac, David, and friends will take Glory Revealed out on the road in a tour of 16 cities March 23 - April 27, 2007.
